I grew up in Dallas surrounded by a loving family who knew and daily prioritized Jesus. As my parents were involved at Watermark from the very beginning, I was lucky enough to grow up in proximity to people who deeply loved the Lord and wanted the same for me. I met the Lord at a very early age and did not have my faith genuinely tested until I got to high school where I quickly began to find life in my image and performance. In what I can now confidently say was his loving kindness, the Lord brought me to my knees through autoimmune disease and at my lowest point, reminded me that his “…power is made perfect in weakness…” and that abundant life was available to me through depth of relationship with him (2 Cor 12:9).
I later attended Texas A&M University where I studied Business Marketing and Sales and was able to serve with middle school girls through a ministry called Young Life. These years were marked by a growing appetite for intimacy with the Lord, wrestling through the ongoing limitations of my Lyme Disease, and experiencing life-giving community like I never had before. After graduating, I worked in Sales before joining the Young Adults team at Watermark. It is such a gift to be able to serve alongside many of the people and ministries that the Lord used to draw me to himself and I cannot wait to watch him continue to work in the lives of young adults in our nation!
