Meet Sarah

I was born and raised right here in the DFW area, was homeschooled until graduation, and I am the middle child of 3 kids. The Lord blessed me by giving me parents who understood the gift of Christ’s sacrifice and placed an importance on being a part of a local body of believers. After walking through a difficult season where my younger brother suffered a stroke, my parents and family modeled what faith and trust in the Lord really looks like. While attending a high school youth retreat at my home church, God opened my eyes to see that I had not yet accepted the gift of Christ for myself and that I needed a personal relationship with Him.

My now husband and I started attending Watermark in 2017 when we were dating. After getting married, James and I started searching for an opportunity to serve the body together. We have been serving in the Preschool ministry since 2019 and it is one of the best parts of my week. When the opportunity came up to join the Kids Midweek Team, I could not have been more thrilled!

One thing you should know about me is that I love the NATO phonetic alphabet. I would love to chat if you ever see me around Watermark. Until then, Hotel Alpha Golf Whiskey Oscar Whiskey!
