I grew up in New Braunfels, TX (Go Unicorns!) in an incredible, loving family and came to know the Lord at a young age after attending summer camp at TbarM Camps. As I grew up and entered high school, I began to find my worth in what the world told me was valuable - people’s opinions, boys, my achievements, etc. and falsely placed my identity in other things besides God. The summer of my junior year, after working at TbarM Camps, I heard the Gospel again and realized I had been saying all the right things but didn’t fully realize I had been dead in my sin, and in need of a relationship with Christ to be fully alive. That year, after experiencing significant hearing loss, I saw how Jesus had truly changed everything for me and even in hard times, He was all that I needed, and my security could only be found in Him. He truly does work everything together for our good and His glory!
After graduating in May of 2013 from the best university in the country, Texas A&M (Gig’em!), I moved to Atlanta, GA and was blessed to be a part of Passion City Church/Passion Conference, and work alongside leaders at Catalyst Conference. Through my time in ATL, my faith grew even more, as I deepened my relationship and reliance on Jesus and developed many life-long friendships.
Being a Texan through and through, I know I’d be back to Texas eventually, and when God opened the door at Watermark, I was so excited to join the team in the Summer of 2018! Since being at Watermark, I have been strengthened in my faith and community, and so encouraged through what God is doing in Dallas.
Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself and invite others into that as well. I’ve seen Jesus move and work in my life and through others around me, and I love being able to share all that He is doing, especially in and through the body of Watermark and through our digital channels. It has been incredible to use communications and social media as a form of ministry, and to share all the amazing ways God is moving and working through this church and our body at Watermark Community Church.
