I grew up in the beautiful hill-country of Austin, Texas, with three brothers and parents who taught me about Jesus. I was blessed to come to know Him personally, at a young age. God used a Bible teaching church, great youth ministers and an awesome Christian camping experience to grow my faith and deepen my love for Him. After squeezing 4 years of school in to 5, I graduated from Baylor University (sic’em!), and spent my next year in a discipleship ministry in Branson, MO.
In 1988, I married my handsome, hard-bodied husband and God has blessed us with four awesome kids! God continues His refining process in me through family and community. After 25 years of marriage and raising kids (my favorite job in the whole world!) God has opened the door for a whole new career. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to connect people, build leaders and encourage others with the comfort that I have been comforted. Believing that life change comes primarily through the context of community, I am passionate about “being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
