I was born just outside of Dallas, in Coppell, TX and loved every day growing up there before I attended college at The University of Oklahoma. At OU I was involved in a great church, on campus ministries, and played on the basketball team. I always loved serving in the respective place God had me, but it wasn’t until I spent a few summers at Kanakuk Kamps that I knew I wanted to serve him vocationally in the local church.
In 2017 I jumped into the Watermark Institute program. It was after this year of leadership training, ministry experience, and biblical teaching that I joined staff full time. My first year on staff, I met wife Kirby. A year later we welcomed our son Harvey Mankin in to the world. It is a privilege to be working with students in the Dallas metroplex, seeking for every student to believe they are known and accepted, taught about Jesus, and challenged to grow.
