Davids Faith, Fight, Foe, Flight and Friend for Life

1 and 2 Samuel

Here we study David's faith and fight (Goliath), His foe and flight (Saul), and His friend for life (Jonathan). We are challenged by David's faith against the great enemy of Goliath in contrast to the fear of the Israelites. We will observe as well the slippery slope of jealousy for Saul and the destruction and damage that sin can cause. And, lastly, we look at the friendship between Jonathan and David and are challenged to be that kind of friend for each other.
