David: An Example to Follow

1 and 2 Samuel

In this week?s chapters, we are again encouraged to follow David?s example. We see his desire to restore fellowship with the Lord by seeking Him and then seeking resolution with the Gibeonites. We are challenged to ask the Lord if there was unfinished business in our life (Psalm 139:23-24). As well, we read David?s song of testimony and rejoice in the fact that the LORD is our Rock, Redeemer, Reward and Rewarder, and Refuge.
