HE IS

Philippians and Colossians

In Colossians, we see Paul concerned about the believers at Colosse and so reminding them that Christ is supreme over ALL things. As we look collectively at Paul?s claims about Christ, what Christ says about Himself and what other writers in scripture say, our picture of God continues to take shape. He existed from the beginning, He is the beginning, He brought all things into existence and in Him all things hold together. If all this is true, what does this mean for me? His supremacy and power over all things means He can handle all of my stuff. But as we looked at Daniel 3 and the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, we can not help but ask the question: "Is it enough to know that He can?"
