The King and the King of Kings

1 and 2 Kings

We see each king in this passage confronted with a choice: Yo rule under God?s authority or reject His authority.  We learn that rejecting God?s authority over our lives can lead to loss of the very thing we want to hold onto. When we acknowledge God?s authority in our lives, we experience, like Elijah, that God leads us step by step as He prepares us, always reminding us, ?Trust ME, I?m your King.?
