As dads, we have all had the words, “IT’S A BOY!!” or “IT’S A GIRL!!” hit our ears either from the lips of a physician or through the elaborate celebration of the increasingly popular gender reveal parties. They are exciting words as well as powerful words that affect the way we shop for clothes, stock our toy rooms and pantries and even plan for the future. Increasingly, however, the world is more and more confused on what the words “boy” and “girl” mean. In this DadU session, we discuss how to biblically think about gender and look at ways we can train up our children to reflect the beauty and character of God with the gender He has given them.
