Jesus Christ was thought to be John the Baptist, Elijah or Jeremiah. Each of the world's religions have a position on who Christ was. Christ asked His disciples who they thought He was. Peter's answer is considered the greatest profession of faith and is the rock upon which the Church is built: "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God". Christ was fully God and fully Man.
