In the wait for a baby, the waste of the birthright and the digging of many wells, we learn that God allows us to wait so we will know it was Him; that if we don't value what God has for us, we are susceptible to being taken advantage of; and that when we are trusting Christ, that just because we're in a hard place doesn't mean we're in the wrong place.
