If all we have is the story of a powerful lover who simply died and stayed in the tomb, our celebration of Easter is nonsensical and, as the Apostle Paul said, we are above all people to be pitied. But if He DID rise from the dead - and we have every reason to believe that tomb is empty - then several logical conclusions must also be true. Conclusions about how we should respond to His love, about eternity, about our past, and about the way we should live in light of Easter, the cornerstone of the faith we profess.
