What About the Resurrection?

What About the Resurrection

Our imaginations often affect our actions. A child imagines that a monster is in his closet so he hides under the covers. Or he imagines that Santa Claus is keeping a "naughty and nice" list so he acts as nice as possible around Christmas time. A student imagines himself getting made fun of so he refuses to speak up in class. Imagination often leads to action. Now think about this: The resurrection of Jesus Chris was not an imaginary event. It was real. Yet it does not always impact our actions. Shouldn't reality have a greater impact on our lives that fiction?
