The Handwriting is on the Wall

Thursday Evening Fall 2010 Study

The "handwriting is on the wall" is such a familiar phrase and comes straight from God's Word. Belshazzar has fallen into indulgence, indifference, irreverance and ignorance as he neglects to learn from his grandfather's experience. As God steps in to remind him that He alone is sovereign over history, we too can see that our days are numbered, our deeds are weighed and we are found wanting in light of God's holiness. We take a look at how God can change our divided affections into pure, undivided devotion to Christ through the cross.
