The Sin of Favoritism

A Study on the Book of James

We are trained by the world to use people. We seek out people who can do something for us, instead of seeking out people who we can do something for. In this text God commands us not to show favoritism and He puts this offense on par with murder and adultery. Instead, He calls us to care for those who can do nothing for us in return.
