GriefShare Morning Class (Women's)

Watermark’s grief recovery ministry offers a safe place to process the deep hurt of loss and is open to anyone who has experienced the death of a family member, friend or loved one. It exists to introduce participants not to a formula, but to the person of Jesus Christ, who we believe is the only lasting source of comfort (2 Corinthians 1:4-5), and to His Word, which is our sole authority, conscience and guide (Joshua 1:8). Our meetings focus on four main activities: lesson, testimony, small group discussion, and a workbook that provides opportunities for meditation on scripture between sessions.

Rather than simply providing practical “how-tos” for processing loss, we use God’s Word as our foundation. By involving participants in authentic, honest community, our ministry helps to equip those grieving so that they avoid the isolation of “toughing it out,” postponing their grieving, or minimizing their pain in an effort to cope with their sorrow.

The class lasts 13 weeks and launches Monday, September 14 at 9:15 am.

Kids Ministry registration is closed.
