A one-day interactive discipleship conference
Hosted by the Watermark Equipped Disciple Ministry
Online Registration: $20 (through August 19)
Day of Registration: $25
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks included
The theme of Converge 2022 is Bearing Fruit Where You are Planted. Each of us are planted in a field of relationships including family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. As we live out life in the field where we are planted, are we taking the roots of our relationship with Jesus Christ deeper? Are we experiencing the abundant life through fruitful living? Is there room for more growth?
Converge 2022 is designed to be highly interactive on a bedrock of sound teaching and practical application. We will hear messages delivered by Max Barnett followed by roundtable discussions. Additionally, we will engage in topical table talks centered on the root system which lies beneath the surface of a believer’s life as well as table discussions on components of the fruit system which springs forth from the roots. There can be no fruit system without a healthy root system. More iron-sharpening-iron fellowship happens as we break bread together at breakfast and lunch.
Spanish translation will be provided for our keynote speakers,
and there will be Spanish discussion groups for our Table Talk sessions.

What is Equipped Disciple?
Now in its 20th year at Watermark, Equipped Disciple is a ministry that guides participants through the three parts of the Navigators’ 2:7 curriculum in the context of interactive small groups. In this training, men and women learn, practice and become consistent in basic practices that help them take progressive steps toward a closer and more fruitful walk with God. Read more at watermark.org/disciple.
Do I need to have taken the Equipped Disciple Class to attend Converge?
Absolutely not! Converge is for disciples and disciple-makers in all walks of life and spiritual growth. If you've wanted to take Equipped Disciple but haven't been able to commit to the 11-week session, then Converge is for you! If you've completed Equipped Disciple courses 1-3 but would like to be further encouraged and equipped, Converge is for you! If you haven't even heard of Equipped Disciple but have a passion for discipleship or a desire to learn more about discipleship, then Converge is for you too!
What is Watermark Community Church?
Watermark is a local expression of the Body of Christ that meets around the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. But we believe that “church” is not a building – it’s a people. Every weekend, we encourage the thousands of people who worship with us to go and be the church in their homes and communities.
Who are the main speakers and table leaders?
Born and raised in West Texas town of Littlefield, Max Barnett, Texas A&M class of 60' has devoted his life to making disciples and training disciplemakers. His life mission is "to know, love and glorify God, and to be used of Him to raise up qualified laborers, in significant numbers, as fast as possible to help fulfill the Great Commission." Max and his wife, Sandra, have been married for 57 years and live in Norman, Oklahoma. They have a son and four grandchildren.
Additionally, leaders from Watermark’s Equipped Disciple ministry and leaders from the Navigators discipleship ministry will be leading roundtable discussions and topical table talks on a wide variety of topics centered on bearing fruit where you are planted. Come prepared for a rousing good time!
