Women's Bible Study is a weekly Bible study running September to April with a holiday break. Each week, women from all over Dallas gather at Watermark for a large teaching time and then break into small groups to further discuss the curriculum and text. We hope you'll join us!

1 Samuel: A Heart Surrendered to God

In what ways are you tempted to conform to the norms, pleasures, or values of the world around you? Coming out of the time of the judges, when everyone did what was right in his own eyes, the Israelites were very tempted to live like the world. They wanted to be like the nations around them: a nation led by a king. As we study the lives of Samuel, Saul, and David (the God-anointed king), we will see how a heart divided leads to destruction, but a heart fully surrendered to God leads to a life of faithfulness.
