Wake Retreat

Wake Retreat is a fall weekend trip for students grades 6-8 designed to help them grow deeper with Christ and each other. It is an opportunity to get away from their typical routine, engage with one another, and experience the abundant life in Christ, all while having a blast at Sky Ranch.

When? Friday, October 29 - Sunday, October 31
Depart Friday at 7:00pm and Return Sunday at 3:30pm
Where? Sky Ranch (Depart from and return to Watermark Dallas)
Who? All 6th-8th grade students
Cost? $225 ($50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot)

Cancellation Policy:
$50 non-refundable deposit
All payments are non-refundable if cancelled after October 15

What is the schedule?

Check- in will be Friday, October 29th at 6:30pm. Buses will be parked in the West Parking Lot, and students can check in at the buses. No need to go inside the Town Center. If you have any registration or check-in questions/issues, we’ll be posted up right outside the main entrance! We will be returning to the same place on Sunday, October 30th by 3:30 pm. We’ll see you there!

What will we be doing?

The goal of this weekend is to spend time connecting with the Lord and connecting with others. We will have fun games, worship, teaching, and extended time for students to connect with their Small Group.

How will we get there?

We will travel via charter bus to Sky Ranch. The bus ride is about an hour and a half. (Depart from and return to Watermark Dallas).

Who will we be in my cabin?

Cabins are divided up by Small Group. Students will be doing everything with their Small Group all weekend.

What do I bring?
  • Labeled reusable water bottle (there will be refilling stations around camp)
  • Sleeping Bag & Pillow
  • Toiletries
  • Towel
  • Shirts
  • Shorts/Pants/Jeans
  • Socks & Shoes
  • Blanket for outside
  • Bible/Journal/Pen
  • Sweatshirt/Jacket/Other Warm Clothes (we will be outside a lot)
  • Extra $ for Camp Store (food & merchandise) we will provide all the meals & snacks throughout the weekend.
What are the COVID guidelines?

To minimize the potential for Covid exposure, here are some proactive steps we are taking:

  • Masks available for bus rides to and from camp but not required
  • Designated cabins for students who begin feeling sick
  • Anyone who displays Covid-like symptoms while at Sky Ranch will be expected to quarantine and parents will be called to come pick them up
