What is the Back to School Bash?

The Back to School Bash is a day designed to help single parent families that are Watermark members or those pursuing membership as their kids head back to school. Families must be present at the event in order to receive supplies. We have changed our eligibilty requirements, please pay special attention to these details to know if your children are eligible to receive backpacks and school supplies.

Here are the requirements for receiving a backpack (one or more of the following):
1. You must be a single parent
2. You are an active member at a Watermark campus (in community and serving)
3. If you are new to Watermark and are pursing Membership (You have completed one or more of the following: Discover Watermark, the Membership classes, are currently pursuing a service opportunity and/or community)
4. You and your children attend at two of the three Kids Core Truths Night Outs this summer (May 7, June 11, July 9)

Questions You May Have About These Changes:
I'm not a member, but have received backpacks in the past because I completed some of the steps towards membership. Will I be eligible this year? 
If you have not completed the process since the last B2SB, you will only be eligible if you attend at least two of the three KCT events.  

What if I am working and can't attend, but my kids can? We will count eligibility based on attendance from a parent (with or without kids).
We will only count eligibility towards a child with no parent if we receive prior notification.  

Can I bring my friend's kids and they be eligible for a backpack? 
No

You said my Kindergartener can't be at the normal Relay time, can they still get supplies? 
Yes. Child eligibility is based on parent attendance. So, if you have three kids going into Kinder (who will be at Training Ground on these nights), if you attend, all your children will be eligible to receive a backpack and supplies.
