DTown 2021

DTown is our biggest (some would say best) event of the year! While things will look a little different this year because of COVID-19, we are praying & planning for a memorable time! The worship services and activities at DTown are designed with students in mind, and you’ll have a ton of fun building friendships, and making memories. Most importantly, this weekend will interrupt your busy, stressed out routine and give you a chance to sit back and evaluate your relationships with God and with others. DTown is a weekend you’ll never forget!

Frequently Asked Questions for DTown 2021

What steps are being taken to ensure safety of participants in light of COVID-19? At DTown 2021, we will be adhering to all of Watermark’s health and safety guidelines to do our best to create a safe environment along with the opportunity to deepen faith and friendship.

Will students be staying in host homes overnight? Students in grades 6–11 will not be allowed to plan or host an overnight stay for DTown. Only 12th grade Small Groups will have the option to plan & host an overnight stay in a host home on Friday & Saturday nights while seeking to ensure the health and safety of participants.

Will there be a price adjustment if a student can only make it to part of the planned schedule of events for DTown? We get requests for partial payment every year and our policy has always been to keep one “ticket price” and allow kids to come and go. With hundreds of participants, we can’t possibly accommodate price adjustments for every unique scenario. Students who wish to participate in any part of DTown are required to register as if you were participating the entire weekend. We understand there are unavoidable conflicts and students are allowed to come and go as long as they communicate and coordinate their schedule with the adult leader(s) in charge of their Small Group.

What if our family can’t afford the registration price? If finances are an issue, we will work with families to pay over time. We also encourage them to share the need with their Small Group, Community Group, or extended family.

Will DTown 2021 still be an amazing event, even with adjustments due to COVID-19? You better believe it! We hope to see you there!
