Watermark Family Worship

Our Dallas campus will meet outside at 9 AM for a morning of worship, teaching, fellowship, and prayer on the Watermark lawn.

Please bring your own blanket, lawn chairs, etc. There will be no separate Kids' Ministry. We hope to see you Sunday in person or look forward to having you join us online at 9:00 and 11:15 AM.

See our FAQ here for additional details and to know what to expect if you join us in-person on Sunday.

Kids Ministry is not provided for this event.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be social distancing or mandatory masks?

We are closely watching every bit of information that is circulated about COVID-19 and will update our strategies daily as we see any information that would change our conviction about the prudence of current strategies. We are grateful for the continued prayers for church staff as we make decisions regarding all our gatherings. Thank you for continuing to worship with us and striving to “outdo one another in showing honor” (Romans 12:10) as we meet the challenges of our current situation.

While we expect there could be some who attend who will want to continue to practice social distancing, there won’t be space reserved for that specific purpose. We will not police events for social distancing, but we will create environments where people have freedom to follow their convictions, including providing overflow space, as necessary and possible. Please take advantage of the room we are reserving for you if you desire more distance rather than asking others to move or not be seated next to you. As is the case throughout our city and state, in public places masks are not mandatory.

As has always been the case, those who are more susceptible to illness (i.e., the elderly, those with compromised immune systems, and their caretakers) would be wise to show even more prudence as they consider their participation in live events. We know that risk has always been part of all public interactions, and part of our responsibility is to assess those risks, which are certainly heightened with the high rate of asymptomatic individuals. We trust your ability to assess risk and how your choices affect others. We long for the day when we all can freely gather without concern.

What about kids attending?

At this time, separate Kids Ministry will not be offered at our midweek or weekend gatherings, although children are welcome to attend with their families. Just as Watermark’s Kids Ministry policy has said for the last two decades, parents are asked not to bring a child if he/she:

  • Has run a fever within the last 24 hours
  • Has had diarrhea or has vomited in the last 24 hours
  • Has a green or yellow discharge coming from their nose or eyes
  • Is known to have any infectious disease such as HFM, croup, etc.
