I have always been a native Texan, as I grew up in Dallas, Texas, and even stayed local for college, attending UT Dallas in Richardson, Texas.
I accepted Christ at a young age, but I did not take my faith seriously until 2015, when I met a group of girls who invited me to attend the Porch. My faith grew as I walked alongside these girls in a community group through Watermark College Ministry. The Lord taught me what it looked like to live authentically, counsel biblically, and abide daily in Him (John 15:4-5). I was then privileged to serve as a leader in the Watermark College Ministry at UT Dallas, and also serve in Crossroads 45 to a wonderful group of girls.
I graduated from UT Dallas with a finance degree and began working in corporate America, but the Lord had greater plans for me, as He was calling me to ministry. I have always had a passion for serving and children, so it is such a blessing to be able to now serve alongside the Family team.
I met my servant-hearted husband, Jake through the College Ministry at Watermark and we got married in June of 2018. Our favorite things to do include hanging out with our community group, going on walks, playing with our dogs, and trying new restaurants.
