My name is Jessica Urbina and I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. I come from a big family with lots of aunts and uncles and have two pups named Pebbles and Bam Bam.
I accepted Christ as my savior in 2015. The Lord taught me surrender in one of the darkest seasons of my life after losing my dad. Through God's love and grace, I have found hope and healing. For the last two years I have been serving as a small group leader in High School Ministry here at Watermark (Shoreline). This ministry constantly reminds me to seek God’s kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Journalism degree that provided an opportunity to work at an advertising agency. As my relationship with the Lord continued to grow after college, God grew the desire to serve others through vocational ministry. As I have transitioned on to staff I love getting to care for people that find themselves at Watermark as a guest, member, or staff. In my spare time, I love traveling, hanging out with my family and friends, capturing photos, enjoying a good cup of coffee and eating yummy food especially the kind that involves avocados!
