Common Questions

How can I make this big church feel small?

You will always be greeted at the auditorium doors and handed a Watermark News every week. Watermark News contains a perforated section that you can fill out simply saying, “I want to get connected!” A staff member will follow-up with you to help connect you to one of our many different ministries.

What are the building hours?

The Dallas campus Town Center is open to the public, while our tower and children’s building is used for ministry events only. The Town Center is open:

Sunday through Friday: 6:00 am – 10:00 pm

Saturday: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Where do I park?

There is surface and some garage parking on our campus. Use this Watermark Dallas parking map as a guide, and watch for our parking team volunteers when you arrive.

If you have children, we have designated the East Lot as for families with young children (0-4 years). Allow plenty of time to find a spot and get your kids checked in.

Do you accommodate for special needs?

We have wheelchair-accessible parking spaces, restrooms, ramps, and wheelchair access seating in the Auditorium.

We recommend the South Lot as the best parking for those with special needs. Our parking team and greeters are always happy to point you in the right direction.

Kaleidoscope is Watermark’s ministry aimed at meeting the spiritual needs of individuals with disabilities. If you are interested in visiting Watermark and have a child with special needs, please contact us at kaleidoscope@watermark.org ahead of time so that we can be well-prepared to serve your family.

What should I wear?

Watermark is a casual environment, so wear what feels comfortable! Jeans and a t-shirt will fit right in.

May I take coffee into the auditorium? What about food?

We provide coffee and welcome you to take it into the auditorium. Please be mindful to throw away all trash as you exit.

While we allow coffee and drink, we ask that you refrain from bringing food in the auditorium.

May I leave the auditorium during the service?

In an effort to reduce distractions and honor and preserve the spirit of worship for those around you, we ask that you remain in your seat during the service. If you need to leave and return, be mindful that the usher team may ask you to sit in another seat, instead of your original seat.

What are the children’s building hours?

For security purposes, we keep our children’s building locked unless there are ministry events happening in those rooms.

What are the Dallas coffee shop hours?

Watermark Coffee is tucked in the heart of Watermark's Town Center, adjacent to the pond and Tree Fort area. The shop is open to all who wish to come and visit; membership is not required. Find updated hours.

Does Watermark have a kitchen on site for cooking?

No. Watermark does not have a kitchen or the capability to offer food services.

May I reserve a room?

No. Due to the high volume of requests, rooms may not be reserved (this includes classrooms, banquet rooms, town center, coffee shop, etc). However, occasionally, Watermark community groups can reserve rooms on campus. For more information, email community@watermark.org.

May I throw a party at Watermark?

Watermark does not allow private parties to reserve our facilities. (This includes all campuses, the banquet room, the tree fort, the coffee shop and outdoor spaces.)

Do you offer tours of your facilities?

Watermark does offer tours for churches or groups who want to expand their campus and look at specific building layouts. All churches must complete an information form before the tour and set up an appointment with our Events Coordinator. To receive the form and set up an appointment, please email tours@watermark.org.

What are the tree fort hours?

The Tree Fort is open for families to bring their children to play. Find updated hours.

May I reserve the tree fort?
