Giving

Thank you for your interest in giving to Watermark.  Our philosophy of giving stems from a believer's responsibility to be a wise steward of all the resources with which God has blessed him / her. From the way you serve God with your time and talents, to the attitude with which you give back to God the first fruits of your labor through monetary giving - each of us is called to worship Him with our entire life.  We also believe that we as the church are to be meticulous in how we handle those resources entrusted to us.

At Watermark your gifts can be designated for the general fund or for the building fund.  Gifts that are not otherwise labeled will be accounted for as a gift towards the general fund.

Ways to give

You may give to Watermark in the following ways:

• Online (one time or recurring).  For more information related to online giving, click here.
• Sunday giving – Rather than pass a collection plate on Sunday, we have decided instead to encourage members of our body to give as the Lord leads them by placing their gifts in boxes which we place near the entrances and exits.
• Watermark Office - Gifts can by sent by mail or dropped off at the Watermark offices at the following address: Watermark Community Church, Contributions, 7540 LBJ Freeway, Dallas, TX 75251
• Donations of stock or other assets – Stock or other assets may be donated to Watermark Community Church. Please notify Kelly Fillingim if you wish to donate stock or other assets. Stock may be donated to Watermark by transferring investments to our account at Fidelity Investments. Please notify Kelly of any pending transfers so that we can be aware of any activity and handle it properly. 

1. IF STOCK IS IN CERTIFICATE FORM: Please contact Kelly Fillingim at 214-361-2275 for instructions on donating stock that is in certificate form.
 
2. FOR BROKER TO BROKER TRANSFER OF GIFT OF STOCK: Please give the following instructions to the firm the shares are coming from:

Receipts

You will receive a receipt of your tax-deductible gifts in accordance with IRS requirements. Please let us know if you have any specific needs regarding the timing of these notifications, otherwise you will receive only the minimum summary of your gifts necessary to meet government standards.
