I was born and raised in Richardson, Texas where I graduated from high school, right down the road, at J.J. Pearce. I came to know the Lord in 4th grade at a summer camp in Oklahoma called Camp WOW, but didn’t start daily walking with the Lord until I was in college at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner). During this season of my life, I worked for four summers at the Pine Cove Towers where I taught 2nd-5thgraders about who Jesus is and what He did for them. Through my time at Pine Cove, serving at a church in Norman, and involvement with a campus ministry, the Lord whipped up a calling of vocational ministry in my heart.
I graduated from OU with a degree in Social Studies Education, but had no desire to teach in the school setting. Instead, I moved back to Dallas and went through the Watermark Institute Program. My wife, Catherine, and I got married while I was in the program and have loved being a part of Watermark. After completing the Watermark Institute in May of 2018, I was given the privilege of serving, full time, with the Children’s Team at Watermark Plano. I have a passion to come alongside families to show their kids how great a life with Jesus can be!
