Dallas-area Holiday Service Opportunities

Homeless Lunch at Watermark Dallas

When: Sunday, Dec. 31 | 10:30-11am (can stay after)
Who: All ages
Where: Watermark Dallas Campus

Individuals or groups can prepare (or purchase) lunch for the homeless who attend Watermark's 9am service. Volunteers bring and serve lunch for 15-20 people. You're welcome to stay for the facilitated discussion with our homeless friends until noon if you'd like. For questions or signup, email welcomehomemission@gmail.com

Brother Bill's Grocery Store

When: Most Wednesdays & Thursdays through Dec. 21 (see below) | 10am-1pm
Who: All ages
Where: Brother Bill's Helping Hand, 3906 Westmoreland Rd., Dallas

Help in our free Grocery Store by handing out food, restocking shelves, bagging groceries, sorting produce, etc. A really interactive opportunity that's great for the whole family! For questions & signup, email volunteer@bbhh.org.

Homeless Search & Rescue

When: Every Saturday through December | 9am to around Noon
Who: Ages 12 & up
Where: Starts at OurCalling, 1702 South Cesar Chavez, Dallas

We search all over the city for homeless friends who are under bridges, in the woods, in parking lots, and in other isolated places. Give: Holiday Food Drive for Brother Bill's

When: Drop off weekdays through Dec. 18 | 9am-4pm

Where: Brother Bill's Helping Hand, 3906 N. Westmoreland Rd., Dallas

We need some great holiday foods for our free Grocery Store - donate on your own, or even hold a food drive! We need canned items: sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, fruit cocktail, chicken, soup, beans... as well as bags of rice and packages of dressing mix. Christmas Celebration Cleanup

Help Host a Christmas Feast
