Meet Neesh

I was born and raised in Northern California by my loving parents. I began learning about the Lord when my dad brought my younger brother and I to church when we were in elementary school. I attended church until I graduated high school, but it wasn’t until my freshman year of college at San Diego State University when I realized that God was calling me to fully live for Him, to not be distracted by the things of this world, and that I was saved by grace through faith. Through a college group at my church, working at a Christian summer camp, family and friends, my relationship with Christ began to strengthen, and I was reminded of His goodness and love for me as His child.

After graduating, I didn’t know where to specifically apply my major of Child & Family Development and seemed to be in a place where I could move anywhere. A good friend from high school told me about a job with KLIFE (a parachurch ministry that focuses on small group discipleship for students) in Fort Worth. I applied, interviewed and within a few weeks was moving to the Lone Star State. It was during my time on staff with KLIFE that I discovered the value of knowing God’s Word, what discipleship truly looks like, and that Jesus is ALWAYS enough. Those three years were transformational in my walk with Christ. Some of the sweetest, most fun moments I had were with that team and I am forever grateful for God bringing us together.

After finishing my time with KLIFE, I moved across the metroplex to Dallas for the Watermark Residency program where I spent 10 months being further equipped in Scripture, personally learning what it means to walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16), and getting to be around some incredible people who love Christ.

I am so excited to be back in Fort Worth and am grateful that the Lord has brought me to a place where I can shepherd women and remind them of His love for them on a daily basis.

A few things that the people closest to me will tell you – my biggest pet peeve is when straws are disproportionate to the size of the cup they’re in, I love Waffle House and my dream dog would be a chow chow. I also am convinced that I could eat Mexican food every day of the week and when given the opportunity to wear a ridiculous outfit, I will always take it.
