My wife, Teresa and I have been at Watermark since the start of the church in 1999. I joined the church staff in January of 2006 after being involved in the start-up of Watermark’s recovery program. Before joining Watermark’s staff, I spent twelve years in strategic planning and business administration with Exxon Corporation and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Christ became my Savior at an early age as my family showed me Christ’s love, but I didn’t fully surrender lordship of my life to Christ until an addiction to pornography overwhelmed me. It was then that I truly realized my deep need for God moment by moment each day.
Some of my greatest joys include: spending time with the love of my life, Teresa, playing games with and shepherding our four children and experiencing God’s redemption of my own addiction to pornography through the re:generation recovery ministry. I also like 7-11 Slurpees, University of Michigan Football, and all things baseball. My first purchase upon moving to Texas was a pair of Roper boots that lasted seventeen years. They helped me learn to two-step, earned eye rolls from my Yankee family and captured the prettiest green eyes in Texas.
