I grew up in a Christian home in New Braunfels, TX with a family who consistently pointed me back to Christ. Growing up in Christian schools all the way from preschool through college, I had tons of head-knowledge about God, but struggled to understand what it looked like to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus.
I went through a period of rebellion in high school that led to poor choices in relationships and pain that followed me for several years. Thankfully, my God is a God of redemption! I moved to Dallas after high school to come to DBU and started to really understand what it looks like to be a disciple of Christ. After some more poor decisions at the end of my senior year of college, I finally reached my breaking point and decided it was time to let go of the reins and trust God with my life.
Not long after that, I came to the Porch at Watermark for the first time. I heard Biblical truth that stirred my affections for Christ. Two years later, I met my husband Kyle, serving together at the Porch. The Lord has been so faithful to redeem what what the enemy intended for harm. I served on staff with our Dallas Community team for 2 years before moving out to the Plano campus and have loved every minute of it!
