My life story has led me to several cities around the US and adventures in countries around the world. Now, I am grateful to be part of the Watermark family as we love and make Jesus known here and around the globe.
After growing up in Tampa, FL, and then attending Auburn University and grad school at Baylor, I moved to Atlanta, GA, for a job with a consulting firm. It was living there, in 1994, that I met the One who met my deepest needs for purpose, life and love – Jesus. Until I trusted Jesus who took my own sin and shame and restored me to God, I went everywhere else to find what I was looking for. He continues to show me that the life I was made for is found in receiving His love and worshipping Him alone, not in any circumstance, relationships or thing (John 10:10).
I first found Watermark in 2001, after I moved to Dallas to attend Dallas Theological Seminary, and eventually joined the staff in 2002. Then, after time away in the Middle East and in Tampa, I returned to Watermark in 2013 to serve with the re:generation team as the women’s director. I’m so honored to be a part of this aspect of discipleship that helps people connect and respond to Jesus’ grace in hard places in their lives and stories - resulting in deeper intimacy with Him and a greater love for others.
