I grew up in Dallas, claiming Lake Highlands High School as my alma mater. When I was in 8th grade, I attended a summer camp called Pine Cove where I accepted Jesus. I was soon graduated and on my way to College Station, TX to attend Texas A&M University. During my next four years, the Lord continued to grow my need and love for Him through working at camp, being apart of numerous organizations at A&M, and serving at my church in College Station. I developed a deep longing to love and serve Him, and it was during these years that the Lord began to show me how he might use me to further His kingdom.
When I moved back to Dallas, I began working in the customer service department at a contractor management company. I was invited to attend Watermark by a few friends and started serving in Student Ministries. It was through countless conversations and prayers that I knew God was calling me into vocational ministry. I love working on the Porch team and seeing firsthand the young adults of Dallas change the world.
When I’m not at Watermark, you can find me enjoying a nice walk with my husband Chad, eating great Mexican food, or sitting on my porch with a great book.
