I love all things involving the outdoors—running, flowers, and mountains. I met my husband at Oklahoma State University (go pokes!) and got married in July 2014. You can find us exploring new Thai restaurants around Dallas, sipping on yummy pour over coffee, or playing board games with friends.
I was born and raised in Coppell, Texas, just outside of Dallas. My parents love the Lord, and taught my brothers and I what it meant to follow Christ. Though I knew who Jesus was and what He did for me, It wasn’t until high school when I truly understood God’s sacrificial love and the depth of His grace. In high school, I was a part of a ministry called Young Life, where I experienced discipleship and grew my passion and heart for ministry. The Lord showed me what it looked like to truly dive into His word and get to know Him better (Mark 12:30). I served as a Young Life leader through my college years, where I experienced the joy of investing in others. The Lord continues to teach me what it looks like to live free in Him and understand my life in light of eternity (Romans 6:23).
In the Summer of 2015 I was blessed with the opportunity to join the Premarital Ministry team at Watermark. I am grateful to serve with such a wonderful body of believers. I am continually reminded of God’s goodness and love for His people!
