I grew up in North central Florida the fourth of six siblings. Our days were spent playing games, swimming, and building forts. My dad was a doctor at the local hospital and my mom raised and homeschooled us. Though I had anticipated going to a large university in the South He had other plans and took me to a school in the middle of cornfields of the Midwest. I attended Indiana Wesleyan University to study photography and it was there He really shaped my character and solidified my faith.
I became a Christian at the age of 6 and my life has been marked by striving to follow His will and plans for me. In college my faith really became my own through various trials that He led me through. God has shown me that He will always meet me where I am and has continued to show me how He loves me, cares for me and has a purpose for my life.
After returning from an 11 month, 11 country mission trip I desired to continue in ministry while continuing to use my creative abilities. Through serving in the arts department at Watermark I am able to combine these two areas of my life that I’m so passionate about.
Fun facts about me: I love being outside, swimming, dancing and cooking. I love to travel and have been to over 22 countries.
