|I was born in Covington, LA to a loving and Christ centered family. My parents, knowing I was a Texan at heart, quickly moved to The Woodlands, TX where my brother and I were raised for most of our lives. I was blessed early on to have God in my life. I grew up going to church and being surrounded by God-fearing leaders. When I was eight, I accepted Christ as my savior and was baptized. With this great upbringing I didn’t know much outside my little “bubble” of a life. That is, until I moved to Cairo, Egypt in the 8th grade. |
I stepped off the plane and was submersed in a culture far from my own. I spent three years in Egypt and it was the first time I truly felt the presence of God in my life. I learned to trust God completely and saw what it meant to “ live out your faith.” I traveled all over the world and experienced a multitude of cultures that has helped shape my outlook on life today.
I went to the great University of Oklahoma and majored in Broadcast Journalism with an emphasis in Electronic Media Production. BOOMER SOONER! After college, I married my beautiful wife, Katy. She is my greatest gift and treasure. She teaches me everyday and I am so thankful the Lord gave me my angel in her.
I am honored to be a part of the Watermark staff serving as a video producer. Growing up, I was the kid who was always taking pictures or video. I was fascinated by the ability to capture the art and beauty of the world. After college, I felt God calling me to use my talents in furthering His kingdom. It didn’t take long for the Lord to open doors and direct my path. I look forward to each day and the opportunities God has to work in the lives around me. “As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” – 1Peter 4:10
