|I was blessed to grow up in a home that loved Jesus and as a result came to know Him personally at a very young age. I was born in Texas but by the time I graduated high school I had moved thirteen times. One of those moves was to a country in West Africa called Burkina Faso as a “missionary kid”. I finally ended up in Arkansas where I went to college, received a degree in accounting and met my husband. |
During the early years of my marriage, God began to grow my heart for ministering to women. But when my marriage fell apart, I believed that my ministry did as well. Thankfully, I was wrong and God is still redeeming that part of my story for His glory. Who knew that I would be on staff at a church after fifteen years in the corporate world and a divorce? God did!
I’m a bit of a foodie so I LOVE the Food Network and trying out new restaurants. Baking is one of my favorite past-times and actually helps me relieve stress! I have a twelve year-old Bassett hound who makes me laugh often. And contrary to what being a “bean counter” might conjure up, I like a good adventure and trying new things.
