I spent the majority of my life in Minnesota. God made a clear path to relocate to Texas in September 2014. It was the last place I thought we would land, and what has transpired since is nothing I would have planned.
I trusted Christ at 13 and can still smell the pine trees that canopied the outdoor chapel at camp. Even though I gave my life to Christ at a relatively early age. I spent most of my life telling him just how things were going to be. No one knew him because I showed up, but they were sure to get a good dose of me.
Grateful for: My best-friend and husband Bill, a 34+ year marriage, our children, Joe/Megan & Kelsey, grandson, Will (the best), family and friends. Grateful for: loss, infidelity, abandonment, struggles of self-reliance, people pleasing, fear of man, control and pride. It was in the trenches of the second list, I fell in love with Christ and finally understood grace, and came to a full surrender. Grateful my selfish and sinful choices are redeemed by Christ’s death on the cross. If you wish to know the gory details…God’s story can be heard here: re|engage| re:generation
My calling…women. I love to encourage, mentor and care for women. I experience this JOY daily in my current role at Watermark. As part of the re:generationteam, I jump at any opportunity to tell others God loves them and HE can change everything. Are you tired yet of trying it your own way? What have you got to lose to step out and try it God’s way? Trust him and your life will NEVER be the same.
Joys: time with family & friends, hiking, running, roaring fires, time in a cozy chair sipping a latte reading & journaling, art and architecture, travel, fashion, design, decorating (especially with repurposed treasures, a reminder of our repurpose through Christ), small children, puppies and bacon.
