I spent the majority of my adult life in Minnesota. God made a clear path to relocate to Texas in September 2014. After that path was made clear, I got to Texas as soon as I could and haven’t looked back!
I trusted Christ at 13 and can still smell the pine trees that canopied the outdoor chapel at camp. Young Life (camp, club, campaigners) shaped much of my early walk. When I was too old to be a camper, I served as a volunteer leader.
Grateful for: My best-friend and husband Bill, a 30+ year marriage, our children, Joe/Megan and Kelsey, family and health. Grateful for: loss, infidelity, abandonment, struggles of self-reliance, people pleasing and pride. It was in the trenches of the second list, I fell in love with Christ and finally understood His grace, and came to full surrender. God has used our story to shepherd other couples in their marriages through re|engage.
My calling…women. I love to encourage, mentor and love on women. I experience this joy daily through staff and the body at Watermark.
Joys: time with family and friends, hiking, roaring fires, reading, art and architecture, travel, fashion, decorating (especially with repurposed treasures, a reminder of our repurpose through Christ), young-adult women, small children, bacon and puppies.
