|Born and raised in Dallas, I graduated high school from Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) and then went to Texas A&M. I accepted Christ at the age of 13 with some of my friends at TCA. Yet for most of my life up until my mid twenties, I lived what many would consider a morally upright life. I knew the right things to say about walking with the Lord but did not understand my freedom in Christ. |
I was a lukewarm Christian and sought fulfillment in what Uptown Dallas had to offer. But God was gracious, and continued to radically pursue me. He reminded me that His grace is sufficient – that I did not have to earn His love nor favor. There are few things better than having the peace of God, which comes from knowing our freedom and security in Christ. I am grateful to know that peace for many years now and feel called to ensure others know – and rest in – it too.
After working in the corporate world and then most recently working in fundraising in the non-profit sector, I am humbled and thankful to be on staff at Watermark on the Equipping Team after a dear friend of mine told me about an opening on this team.
Some things about me: I recently got married to my husband, Drew, who is my opposite – but that is definitely a good thing. I love the Texas Rangers and have been following them faithfully since I can remember. I love reading, trying new restaurants, attempting any game/competition, dancing and working out. Many would say that I am passionate about the small things in life, which makes life that much more enjoyable.
