Tapestry, Watermark's adoption & foster care ministry, serves families that have been touched by the biblical call to care for orphans in their distress (James 1:27).  Our heart is to connect and encourage anyone who has an interest in adoption, foster-care or orphan care. 

Adoption & foster care has become a hot topic in the Christian world today. One of our emphasis within Tapestry is to help people move toward adoption with “eyes wide open.”  We want people to know the good, the bad & the difficult of adoption.   Our desire is to make Tapestry a place to share the joys of adoption and a safe haven to be real & authentic about the hardships of adoption. We also want to serve as a resource for those at Watermark and throughout the community who are interested in knowing more about God’s heart for the orphan. 

Scripture repeatedly refers to those who have believed in Christ as children of God. As such, our adoption experiences give us a wonderful perspective concerning those who have received God's saving grace through faith in Christ - we are all adopted! We are woven together by grace into the 'tapestry' of His family. Sharing this spiritual aspect of adoption is an integral part of Tapestry's ministry.
