Ministries

Frontlines Ministry is the hospitality of Sunday mornings. This ministry includes the set up/tear down, parking, greeting, ushering, and coffee teams. If you are looking for a simple way to become involved at Watermark, the Frontlines Ministry is a wonderful opportunity to do so. It is an easy way to meet new folks and you will be able to provide an inviting environment for both visitors and members!

Frontlines Service Opportunities

  • Parking - This ministry is a wonderful opportunity and has a great impact as volunteers will perhaps make the 1st impression on a visitor. Parkers either arrive at 8:30am for the 9:00 service and/or 10:15 for the 10:45 service and will direct parking up until the beginning of worship.
  • Greeting - Greeters arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled service and greet up until the beginning of worship. Responsibilities include welcoming and smiling at those who come into the doors of the church and handing out the Watermark News as guests enter the worship service.
  • Ushering - Ushers arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled service and usher through worship. Responsibilities include directing guests to their seats, holding people in back of auditorium during all videos, prayers, and announcements, & picking up the Watermark News and trash from inside the auditorium following the service.
  • Coffee Bar - Volunteers arrive an hour before the 1st service to set up the coffee bar, prepare coffee, serve beverages and cake until the 1st service begins. There is a second shift of volunteers that will then clean up the coffee bar area after the second service is over.

Service Commitment

Volunteers are scheduled to work once a month on the same week and same service of every month for all of the areas above. Volunteers may serve more than once a month if desired. Each team has a team leader who will train volunteers. The time commitment to serve in each of these areas ranges from 30 minutes to an hour.
