Frontlines is Watermark’s Hospitality Ministry. Frontlines volunteers serve as the official hosts of our weekend services. Our goal is to welcome others just as Jesus Christ first welcomed us (Romans 15:7). There are six ways to serve on Frontlines: Parking, Greeting, Ushering, Coffee, Welcome Center, and the Reach Team. If you are looking for a way to get involved at Watermark, Frontlines is the perfect place to start! While Frontlines only asks that volunteers serve once a month, you will have the opportunity to get to know others in a small team setting while developing and deploying your gifts. There are six Frontlines volunteer teams.
Parking Team – First impressions matter! Our parking team needs servant-hearted people, willing to welcome people as they direct traffic and answer questions from guests in the parking lots.
Greeting Team- The Greeting Team welcomes our guests as they walk into the auditorium. Please plan to serve the entire service and attend a different service if you serve on the greeting team.
Usher Team - Ushers help guests and attenders find a place to sit as they enter the Auditorium. Ushers will be inside the auditorium during the service. While they will be able to hear the message, they are required to be at their posts throughout the duration of the service.
Coffee Crew - The Coffee Crew works hard throughout the services to make sure every guest has the chance to grab a cup of coffee. This role requires some lifting and labor.
Welcome Center Team- This team helps attenders connect to Christ and to Watermark by distributing information about Watermark’s values, ministries, community groups, events, etc. Please plan to serve the entire service and attend a different service. As this position can involve pastoral situations, personal interviews are conducted with each applicant.
Reach Team - The Reach Team exists to help Watermark attenders take their next step to get connected. These volunteers are strategically placed throughout the Auditorium to welcome, engage, and connect with those attending our services. As this position can involve pastoral situations, personal interviews are conducted with each applicant
