Exodus Ministries

Release date. Two words that should bring relief and joy to an inmate awaiting freedom. But for many – particularly mothers with small children and few resources to care for them – these words instead bring anxiety and fear.

Where will I live? How will I provide for my family? Will my kids want to live with me, or will they even remember me?

Without loving care and structured guidance, these mothers are vulnerable to returning to their old ways and negatively impacting the future of their children.

But Exodus wants to break the cycle of generational crime. They provide mothers a chance to change the course of their lives and their children’s lives. From housing, to job preparation, to spiritual discipleship, residents of the Exodus apartments are prepared for successful re-entry into the community. Through Exodus, God restores hope, rebuilds families, and transforms lives.
