Stuff the Truck? (Stuff Your Trunk Instead!)

Pile food in a bag, boxes, or even fill your car trunk! A great chance to involve family and friends in collecting food… you could even consider a neighborhood food drive!

In lieu of our usual “Stuff the Truck" at the Dallas campus, we’re encouraging you to “stuff your trunk” and take food directly to Brother Bill’s Helping Hand in West Dallas, Minnie’s Food Pantry in Plano, or Beautiful Feet in Fort Worth. This is a great chance for you to get to know these organizations.

Food needed (because it’s healthiest): Non-perishable, non-breakable containers of… vegetables (especially spinach, corn, sweet potatoes, and peas), fruit (canned in juice or dried), soup, stew or chili (low-sodium), beans (canned or dried), canned tuna or chicken, peanut or almond butter, whole grain crackers, granola bars, and brown rice. Please do not donate: ramen noodles, other unhealthy options, glass jars, perishable food, or food past its expiration date.

And if you're doing this with kids, don't forget about our Hunger Discipleship Guide!
