SHELF LIFE: READ, REFLECT & RESPOND ONLINE
Join us this January for an online forum as we read Timothy Keller’s Reason for God. Keller uses literature, philosophy, real-life conversations, and reasoning to explain how faith in a Christian God is a soundly rational belief held by thoughtful people of intellectual integrity. - Answering the Tough Ones: How to Answer the Five Most Commonly Asked Questions of the Christian Faith (Teacher: Aaron Graft and Jeff Hewitt) 7-8:30pm
Questions we will discuss:
1. How do you explain evil & suffering? 2. Does science contradict the Bible? 3. What happens to the person who dies never having read the bible or heard of Jesus? 4. - Sharing Your Faith with Authenticity: Develop the Confidence to Share Your Story of Grace and the Truth of the Gospel with Others (Teacher: Bill Roberson) 7-8:30pm
Every follower of Christ is called to tell others the Good News of our Lord and Savior. In this class we will explore creative and practical ways to reach friends, family and (gasp!) even strangers with the Gospel. We will discuss ideas for starting conversations and answering common questions. We will also cover methods for effectively following up new believers to the point where they are equipped to spiritually reproduce in the lives of others.
- Find Your Mission: Understanding How God Has Uniquely Gifted You to Serve (Teacher: Wes Butler) 7-8:30pm
What does it look like to live “on mission”? - Hope Lives: Doing Your Part to Combat Poverty and Care for the “Least of These” (Teachers: Jeff Ward and Jennifer Lewis) 7-8:30pm

There will be opportunities not only to learn about poverty, but to “experience” its effects. Our hope is that you will leave this class more equipped to engage our community and the world, with a renewed connection to and deeper understanding of the gospel, and with tangible ways in which you can love and serve our community and our world.
- MoneyWise: A Biblical Approach to Managing Your Finances (Teacher: John Cox) 7-8:30pm

The class will be interactive with several practical exercises throughout.
