We offer DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 pm on the third floor of the Watermark Building. Please join us during the first few weeks of the session. Please contact Kim Harms, to register. The Watermark Building is located at 7540 LBJ Freeway (map).

During each session, please join us from 6:00 to 6:30 for a meal before DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids. RSVP to Rick Irby by the Friday before each week. The cost is $5.00 per person or $7.00 per family. Dinner is at the Watermark Building on the 2nd Floor. 

Separation and divorce are among life's most difficult and painful experiences. You need the help and encouragement of others as you attempt to heal and restore balance to your life. DivorceCare is a ministry of encouragement, information and sharing. DivorceCare meets weekly, providing you with an ongoing 'support team' as you deal with the issues surrounding your separation or divorce.

There are two parts to each weekly DivorceCare session. During the first 30-40 minutes of the meeting, the group watches a DVD featuring top experts on divorce and recovery topics. These DVD's contain valuable information about recovering from divorce and are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format. Topics covered during the 13 weeks include facing depression, loneliness, and anger, exploring a biblical theology of divorce and remarriage, and ultimately finding healing and moving on with God's help.

Following the video, the participants spend time as a 'support group' discussing what was presented on that week's video and what is going on in the lives of the group participants. Each group is led by two experienced group facilitators.

Sign up is not necessary before attending, but is helpful for planning. To sign up, contact Kim Harms. We ask for a one-time registration fee of $15 that covers all 13 weeks, but scholarships are available to those who are not able to pay that one time fee.

Free childcare is available. DivorceCare for Kids is available for kids 1st through 5th grade.
