DivorceCare for Kids
DivorceCare for Kids provides the opportunity for children of divorce to experience hope, help and restoration in their lives today and in the future. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the Watermark Building. Please join us during the first few weeks of our new session starting Tuesday February 2nd. It is open to all children first through fifth grade. Online registration coming soon.
Meeting at the same time as DivorceCare, kids will walk through lessons similar to the ones their parents will be talking about in their support groups at DivorceCare for Kids. Topics covered during the 13 weeks include, facing anger, depression and loneliness, understanding God's love and God's plan, and communicating with their parents about their feelings. Through interactive stories, music and videos, children of divorce will have the opportunity to deal with their feelings and build relationships with other kids in similar situations.
Sign up is not necessary before attending, but is helpful for planning. Contact Kim Scheidegger with questions. We ask for a one-time registration fee of $10 per child that covers all 13 weeks, but scholarships are available.
Please print and fill out this form before bringing your child/children to DC4K.
