As we journey through Psalm 26-30, we take a look at three characteristics of David's intimacy with God. In Psalm 26, David is direct and honest with the Lord allowing him to search the deepest parts of his heart. In Psalm 28, David is dependent on God not self. This characteristic allows him and us to take steps of faith that otherwise would appear to us as insurmountable. Lastly, in Psalm 27 we see that David is desperate for God's presence. This makes David truly a man chasing after God's heart.
