The ultimate purpose of our life as Christians is to know God. So how do we do this? In the same way that Jesus spent time alone praying and seeking God, it is essential that we also spend time alone with Him. Furthermore, to experience intimacy with Christ we must remain vigilant and continually fight through the diversions of busyness, fear, sin, and disobedience.
